To All Graduate Students of the School,In order to motivate students to diligently pursue their studies, engage deeply in scientific research, demonstrate courage for innovation, and strive for excellence, and in accordance with the "Implementation Rules for the Evaluation and Awarding of Wuhan University's 'Luojia Yingcai Innovation Scholarship'", this notice outlines the selection process for the 2024-2025 academic year as follows:Full-time non-directional graduate students enrolled at Wuhan University who are in their second year of study or above and within their standard period of study.1.Love the motherland, support the leadership of the Communist Party of China, abide by national laws and university regulations exemplarily, possess good moral character and behavior habits, and be honest and trustworthy.
2.Possess an international perspective and mindset, demonstrate strong innovation awareness, entrepreneurial spirit, and outstanding comprehensive abilities.
3.Applicants must meet at least one of the following conditions:
•Having won a third-class prize or above in a National Category I competition as stipulated in the "Wuhan University Measures for Rewarding Student Academic Sci-Tech Innovation and Discipline Competitions" during the evaluation academic year, and having made outstanding contributions within the team.
•Actively exploring in fields such as literature, science, art, etc., and having produced high-level original achievements.
•Having independently conducted social investigations and produced valuable research reports adopted by relevant departments.
•Having independently conducted research on a project under the guidance of a supervisor and having implemented it in practice.
4.Students falling under any of the following circumstances are ineligible for this scholarship:
•Having received a disciplinary sanction from the University.
•Having committed academic misconduct in academic research.
•Having caused major incidents or losses in scientific research work or clinical practice.
•Participating in illegal organizations or activities.
•Having failed any course during the academic year of application and selection.
•Failing to register as required by the University without valid reason.
•Other actions detrimental to the University's reputation.
III. Award Standards and Quotas
1.First Prize: Amounting to RMB 60,000 per person, 1 recipient annually.
2.Second Prize: Amounting to RMB 20,000 per person, 2 recipients annually.
IV. Application Procedure
Graduate students intending to apply for the Luojia Yingcai Innovation Scholarship must, after obtaining their supervisor's consent, submit the following materials:•Hard copies (Application Form - Attachment 1, Summary of Research Information for Graduate Student Special Scholarship - Attachment 2, Statistics Table of Research Achievements for Graduate Student Special Scholarship Application - Attachment 3, supporting documents: original and photocopies of transcripts, published papers, library retrieval reports, award certificates, etc.) must be submitted to the School Office A219 by 17:00, October 9th.
•Electronic versions of all materials should be compiled into a single package and sent via email to: [email protected]. The email subject must be formatted as: "Luojia Yingcai Innovation Scholarship Application + Major + PhD/Master + Name".
The School will review the application materials and recommend the best candidates to the Graduate Work Department for final selection.
1.Within the same academic year, graduate students cannot use the same academic achievements to win both the National Scholarship, the University's Academic Innovation Award, and various special scholarships. If different academic achievements are used, the monetary awards and honors can be received concurrently.
2.The supporting materials used for the scholarship application (such as academic grades, academic research achievements, discipline competition results, etc.) must have been obtained within the period from September 1, 2024, to August 31, 2025.
